There are good and bad things about these apts (as with any). First, the good. 1) The apartments themselves are very nice and spacious. 2) The complex is in a great location. 3) Maintainence was always very quick to respond to any problems that I had. The bad: 1) Parking is not very good, but not terrible. If you come home after 8:00p, you're not going to find a spot in front of your building, but you may find one near it. The later you come home, the less likely you'll find a spot, but I will say I always found a spot, although it may have been on the other side of the complex. 2) The fitness center sucks (unless your a weightlifter), the treadmills are always broken. The final thing that you need to watch out for is move out fees. I had a puppy (and yes she did pee on the floor a few times), they charged me $1100 for carpet cleaning which I thought was preposterous! But that's me. Overall it wasn't a bad place to live, just be careful.

I believe it's a Virginia law to change all of the carpet between every tennant. To charge you to clean carpet that they likely pulled up is preposterous.
