Be considerate

Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2006
I was a potential resident on the Archstone Ellipse property at Fairfax, VA. I signed the lease on October 2nd to move into one of the apts. I received a call on October 4th, 2006 - 3 days ahead of my move-in date, informing that the current resident has not vacated the apartment and we cannot move in as planned.
I came down personally along with my wife to discuss the situation. I was appalled at the totally nonchalant attitude of the front desk. They did not seem to care about our situation and spoke to us in a very inconsiderate and unapologetic way. The only other apartment they had (in our budget range) was from October 13th. When we asked them what we should do between our original move in date (Oct 7th) and Oct 13th, they answered - "we dont know, sir" in a very cold manner.
FYI, I am paid by the hour and it took me around 3 hours for the total process of meeting staff at Archstone Ellipse and then heading over to another Archstone in the vicinity and going around to look at the apartment.
I personally recommended your property to lots of my friends in the past. It was unfortunate that I had to go through this situation.
We went through a lot of stress because of the above. All I would like to tell you through my mail above is to be more considerate with your customers.
