Don't waste your time or money....

The Elms offers spacious apartments at a price that is average to high for the area, but not much else. The units are old and falling apart and the management is often rude and unresponsive.
The maintenance staff is generally pleasant, but completely untrained in even the most basic repairs. The original fixtures and appliances are on their last legs and desperately need replacing. Cheap and shoddy workmanship only makes things worse. For example, holes created in the walls from previous tenets aren?t patched, but covered with duct tape and then whitewashed over.
The units are very poorly insulated and as a result, the electric bills can be enormous. You can?t open most of the windows because they are painted shut and all the screens have holes.
Noise is probably the worst problem - You can hear every step your upstairs neighbor takes. And as someone previously mentioned ? I never knew that a bathtub could make so much noise!
The grounds are generally safe and well-maintained, although snow removal in the winter is a complete mess. The unassigned parking is great for guests, but you will not find a spot near your building if you get home from work after 7pm.
There are appears to be many college students living in the complex - which is not a problem at all. The problem is that the staff tries to run the place like a dorm. On several occasions all of the units in a single building (16 total) have received warning letters, threatening monetary fines because one apartment refused to properly dispose of their trash or store their belongings. I do not like to be threatened via a mass form letter and find the management?s aggressive attitude alarming!
Overall, I just can't recommend this dump! They take your money and give you nothing in return. There are many better apartment complexes in this area.
