Great experience at the Elms at Oakton

I have lived here almost 1 year and have enjoyed it. If I wasn't moving to another state I would definitely extend my lease. Parking is amazing - I never park far from my apartment and my friends are able to park right next to me, you never have to worry about them being towed! The 2 bedroom 2 bath is perfect for having a roomate because each of you have your own area and can be as messy/clean as you want! Also, the size of the rooms/closet space are so similar that one roommate doesn't feel as though they are getting the short end of the deal by taking the one without the tub. The price is great for the area and the location is really convenient as it is right next to 66. 20 min and you're in DC! Maintenance I feel like was good - one time our refridgerator crapped out on us and they came within the hour I called and gave us a brand new one!
My ONLY complaint is that the walls are a bit thin (as are most apartments). If I had more respectful neighbors this wouldn't be an issue - but they allow their children to scream at 8am on the balcony... ive been tempted to scream back! But like I said - not the apartments fault, more like the neighbors needed a talking to.
