It's an older apt complex, and it shows. The rent is high everywhere in Fairfax, but there has to be better options in this price range.
Below is a list of my complaints. Granted, most of them are minor, but in total it's been a bad experience.
- black mold/mildew on all window and door frames (this was major problem!)
- poor insulation due to bad windows and poor construction
- water damage to the ceiling
- *very* slow maintenance service
- insulation around the front door had to be replaced/fixed multiple times
- low closet space and most of it is in the bathrooms
- sliding closet doors don't slide smoothly
- ants were a problem
- cable guy had to rip out and replace cable wires because they were so corroded
FYI: It is within walking distance of 2 major shopping plazas and a huge mall - nice area but very busy. vWhRVi5nYYIuEh4W7K3l
