I am a current tenant and have lived here for over a year. I have never lived in a place that has had such poor service from the leasing office and sheer lack of regard for what tenants, as a rule, pay for. People rent apartments for a couple of reasons: don't want to have to worry about the maintenance or aren't ready to buy a house. I have had maintenance issues that have just been 'forgotten' by the leasing office. They said they would fix something and never did. Even better, it's been over a month since they said they would fix something (a major need in the apt, by the way, not a leaky faucet) and they just 'don't return calls anymore'. Like ostriches with their heads in the sand, they are pretending like if they don't return your calls, (remember as a tenant who pays to live in this dump) that the problem will just 'fix itself'.
When I first moved in I thought the place cute, had a nice neighborhood, great amenities, and a reasonable price for the location. I realized that they just pull the wool over your eyes with their nice leasing office and what seemed to be a very friendly and responsive, leasing staff. Over the course of a little over a year that I've lived here I've noticed that things, well NOTHING, ever gets done. Have a dog and you notice that there are 'doggy bags' in the fido hydrant' You're dreaming if you think you'll ever use the thing. Since I've lived here they have never- not once- filled it up. Another thing that is great for dogs (and kids), I've seen broken glass from beer bottles sit on the sidewalks for months- there is no 'clean-up' here. Interested in racquetball' Yes, there is a court here but you may go blind trying to play it because 3 out of 6 lights have been burnt out since I've lived here. Really want to sit in the great hot tub pictured in the ad after a long day at work' Good luck because it was filled in with cement before I moved in and still sits with it's hardened cement. Do yourself a favor and save yourself a ton of headaches: don't rent here.
