I would not be at all surprised if the manager of this property is in fact on drugs. I only saw him one time before I moved out and that was enough for me to see that the guy is an unprofessional moron. I was waiting to talk to someone about my 60 day notice when he walked right by me without even acknowledging me and plopped his pudgy ass on the ledge of the window that looks down from the clubhouse to the gym. After some observation I figured out that he was sitting there watching football on the TV's in the gym.
This property is without question a poorly managed dump. However, I do want to rebut one thing from the posting that I am responding to; and that is the derogatory comment made about leasing agent that used to work at this property, Nikki (not Nicky). During the time that she worked at Fair Oaks at Pender Creek it became very clear to me that she took pride in her work and cared about the residents. She went out of her way to do the right thing, even when everyone else around her was doing the bare minimum. I know this personally because once when my car was towed, she admitted that it was due to a mistake on her part and she paid with her own money (over $100) to get my car out of the tow yard. I also know that she did things to help an elderly resident. In my only dealing with Jewel, she was completely put out because I asked her for a guest parking pass while she was talking on her cell phone. I don't know where Nikki is now, but I'm glad she got out of that cesspool called Fair Oaks at Pender Creek; and I'm glad I got out too. I am still so impressed with her honesty and integrity that I felt compelled to post this in her defence.
