If you are at all averse to roaches (like me), please move on to the next listing. I can hardly move without having to kill one. While management has been quick to respond to my distress over this matter, I have had my apartment exterminated (I'll call it that even though the problem has gotten worse) more than once to no avail. This is very concerning to me because I am a clean person who CANNOT tolerate rodents and the like. But if you can, read on.

As far as the management goes, well one person in the office is full of misinformation and usually lacks sympathy while the other is generally concerned about the tenants (they kinda cancel each other out).

The apartment, built in 1974, is not the newest or the most soundly built structure, but it will do. The pipes are loud, you can usually tell when your neighbors are in the bathroom, and the walls are thin (as in I can hear my neighbor snoring at night). But I've gotten used to all of this.

There, from what I can tell, is only one maintenance man who works in the complex. He is very nice and when he comes, he will fix things, but since he's only one man, it may take a while for him to get to you. Recommendation: make any maintenance requests separate from others. Compiling a list of maintenance requests will only put you further back on his list.

But, here again, this is one of those instances where you get what you pay for. From what I understand, most apartments in this location, that are this accessible to the CUE and METRO bus lines, are more expensive and don't include any utilities (Circle Villa pays all utilities except for electric). However, if you have a car and don't need the bus, look elsewhere. There are better, probably cheaper options.

So, in conclusion, you may be paying less, but then again, you may not be able to eat out of your kitchen or sleep peacefully in your bedroom because your overrun with unwanted visitors.
