I lived here for a short time in 2006 with a few friends and here is our experience with this establishment.
While staying at Fairfax Circle Villa we encountered our thousands of roomates- a large population of small roaches. These little guys were everywhere despite my compulsive cleaning with concentrated bleach every-other-day. Under the couch, behind the poster on the wall, EVERYWHERE in the kitchen, there was no getting rid of these guys. The apartment does spray once a month, but it doesn't seem to help.
Also my roommates had a large leak in the master bathroom that would flood their bathroom floor with a large puddle of water on a daily basis. They, and myself made several calls to maintainance to report the issue. Maintainance contacted us back after a week and told us to close our shower curtian- they didn't even come by to check the problem out. We all knew that was not the issue and to prove a point my roommate used the other bathroom to shower in for a week, still the puddle remained. Again we contacted maintainance- they continued to deny there was an issue.
My roomate's car was also struck in the parking lot, and we wittnessed cars being hit by intoxicated individuals on a monthly basis. We kept the cops on speed dial for such scenarios. Though it was good entertainment on the weekend to sit on the balcony and watch the drunken people in the parking lot.
The walls are thin, but this is typical of most apartments. The grounds also are not attractive, but that can be overlooked as well.
So if you like to watch drunks and the occasional drug deal, eat with roaches, and jump into a puddle when you wake up to use the restroom in the morning- THIS COMPLEX IS FOR YOU!!!
Also the office staff could be better, they aren't too considerate when it comes to customer relations- this could be due to the problems that arise in a complex like this filled with mostly low income residents.
