Be careful if you want to live here

I was there for more than one year.
At first, it's ok, but when I decide to leave, it's a nightware. First, they use some trick information and lead us to break lease even we don't want and don't need to. And then they ate their words and insist that they never said that blabla...... They also said that there were something in the lease term but you can't find those term anywhere. And then they said it's industry standard ...... So based on those error information they told us, we are forced to break lease even it's their fault.

And then, after we moved out, we receiv a large repair charge. We lived in five different apartment before. The only move-out charge we receive is $25 and we know what it is. But this apartment will try to charge you everything even you already paied $125 cleaning fee to them!. So they charged us more than $300 dollar after we move out.

So my suggestion is, stay away from this apartment. They will play game with you when you move out.

I used to be the manager there several years ago and I am not sure if the same maintenace supervisor is there or not but I am sure if he is your charges were warranted. There is a broken lease penalty in all leases. You will find this in any agreement. My question would first be is you read your lease you would know that you can't break your lease without there being some sort of penalty. My advise to you in the future would be more cautious in the future read your lease and take picutres before you leave so when you go to court to prove your case you will win in the long run signed someone who no longer is in the propery management profession.
