I took this slightly pricey place because of location. I liked it a while, but honestly don't bother. Allow me to explain that, while the apartment is a nice size, that really doesn't make up for it.

Parking is impossible for guests (they tow at 10, and my friend used to park down a side street and walk all the way there).

The people in the office are TERRIBLE (especially Sophia, who has never smiled once and is even unhappy when you just go and pick up your packages), completely unwilling to help, which I think explains why they have so many vacancies lately. All of my 3 neighbors on my floor have left (only one has since been replaced). Maintenance often uses my outlets on my ground floor patio, and when I complained that one of my electric bills was atrociously high (in the $250s!) they told me I wasn't permitted to even see my own meter just to check for accuracy (though I was pretty sure it was accurate, just not true to what I had used and reflected the fact that people were using my outside plug).

Plumbing is bad. No cockroaches but they spray an annoying amount for that. Lots of stink bugs in the summer, though.

They keep spending a lot of money poorly repainting things that look fine when they could spend more money developing a better parking plan or updating the plumbing, or hiring a nicer staff!

Happy to be leaving when my lease is finished!

That is crazy about them using your electricity! I can definitely see them doing it though. They'll cheat every dime out of you. Good point on parking as well. Management would say that they offer guest passes, but you of course have to get them before they close for the day. And we don't always know we're having guests or what our evening plans are.

Did it ever occur that you might be the problem? You just seem to have a bad attitude about life. I have not had a bad experience here at all, the staff is always friendly and courteous with me and my kids in all the years I have lived here. I also ran into that situation about the parking pass and not getting to the office in time, so I called ahead and they left it on my door so it was there when I got home. Yes, my door was painted too but the supervisor was there, so it wasn??t left unattended and I am waiting for my peephole too, ummm cover it in the meantime instead of complaining!
