While living at the Avalon is expensive I feel that it is worth it.



I think the community has a nice neighboorhood feel to it. I actually talk to all of the people who live in my area unlike anywhere else I have ever lived.



The complex is kept cleaned and neatly landscaped.



I feel very safe within the complex and very rarely have problems finding a parking space right in front of my apartment.


The Avalon has also recently made a lot of improvements. The office hours have been extended which is wonderful. The used to be only M-F 9 to 5 but now they are open late 2 days a week and on the weekends also. Both the fitness center and business office have been upgraded recently as well.


I throughly enjoy my townhome, garage, and driveway. It is so much nicer than your regular high rise or garden style apt. complex.



The location is great with the Fairlakes Shopping Center right across the street. Everything you could ever want or need is there.



The entrance ramps to Rt. 66 are less than half a mile away which is very convenient.


The Avalon at Fairlakes just recently got Road Runner access (cable modem) and digital cable will be coming soon!

One final thing - when I got my rent increase this past year I thought it was a little steep. I went to the office and politely spoke with one of the employees who lowered the rent increase DRASTICALLY! I was in shock.So keep in mind that you can negotiate.
