I had the exact same experience as the previous poster. I lived at the Hermitage for almost 2.5 years. I always paid my 1200 rent on time and never had a problem until we moved out.

My wife and I left the apartment in great condition (no stains on the carpet at all).

After I moved out I received a letter saying I owed $200 (on top of my $400 deposit) because of urine stains caused by my cat(which only lived in the apartment for 6 months). I of course thought there was some kind of mistake but the manager at the Hermitage told me she had pictures of the stains. She told me she would send a copy of them to me. The never arrived. I was told again that I would receive copies of the pictures. The never arrived. When I called a third time to request pictures of the stains I was told there were no pictures AND there were NO STAINS but I was still resposible for replacing the carpet because it smelled like pets (which is not true). I then sent them a letter disputing there charge that I pay them. They never responded but did send me to a collection agency.

Bottom line if you rent from them make sure you document (with pictures) everything when you move out because they will try to screw you over.

Also, if you come home after 900pm you will never find parking.
