If your work is such that you may have to work long hours during the week, or ever have to travel, think twice about moving in here. Although I would have to agree with a lot of the sentiments noted about move-out, etc, one that usually doesn't make the reviews but should is this:
I would often come home after a long day and find that on a Tuesday I would have a notice on my door telling me that I need to make sure that access to my bathroom, or back of the refrigerator, or have the dishwasher empty.
These notices would regularly be for Thursday morning... 36 hours later, and although it said if there are any issues with it to give the management a call. But no matter what you said [in this case, what I said], they explained in a "sorry it's just completely beyond my control" fashion that they have to have something looked at, done, changed, etc.
And if you were out on business during that week, you came home to find that you had a notice delivered and then people in your home, and if they needed to move furniture or dishes or whatever, they did. [so you ended up having to make sure that among other things to take care of before heading out on a business trip, you had to make sure your dishwasher was empty, place was all cleaned up, personal items tucked away, etc].
I asked if they could let us know the week ahead of time for the entrances into the apartment that they clearly had to know about, and even stated I would provide self-addressed stamped envelopes, they said they just couldn't afford to do the notices twice, and that they found some people lost their notices if they got the notice the week before.
I even point blank asked "so, you're making my life more difficult because some people couldn't be responsible enough to remember something for a week.
This is not something that happened rarely.
