We have a nice basic apartment. No problems so far. The office staff is pretty reliable and helpful. They take the time to answer our questions. Maintenance does a decent job. The place could use updating, but I can't beat the price. Parking is excellent. Very clean and my neighbors are nice.

I agree. That place is a hell hole. It's so bad, I wouldn't refer my worst enemy. Sure it's a nice basic apartment, if you like cockroaches, bedbugs and Mariachi blasting at 8am. No thank you. The pest extermination coming in every two weeks doesn't help. It was more of a nuisance, having to clear all the kitchen and bathroom cabinets, shelves, countertops for the cockroaches and moving all the furniture in the apartment away from the walls and mattresses off the bed frames for bedbug. Both infestations seem to be never-ending. Maintenance is nice, but the office staff are rude. One particular lady who works and lives there is fake; she smiles in your face and then talks about you like a dog behind your back. Staff favors certain tenants and allow them to break the lease continuously, i.e., having a large dog, blasting music, items other than patio furnishings on patio/balcony, too many people in one apartment, etc. I get a letter stating if I have one more complaint, we would be evicted. I had two noise complaints, which were the children playing Wii at 3pm and my furniture moving for a bedbug inspection. I am happily gone, and not a moment too soon. I've never in my life experienced the unprofessionalism I did there. BTW, I saw those two rats by the dumpster several nights.

That's not even funny! The place is filthy; infested with rats, roaches, bed bugs, mold and more. The parking always sucks; there's barely any visitor parking and if visitors park in the lot past 10:30pm, they will get towed; the parking lot fills up early in the evening; there are always several creepy men who blatantly leer while making strange sounds, supposedly cat calls, regardless of age as long as you are female (I had to tell numerous pedos off for trying that crap with my teenage daughter). The walls are paper thin and I could always hear my neighbors and vice versa. This creates a problem with close-minded neighbors who are too full of themselves to realize some noise can't be avoided (I do have to live up here, if you don't want to hear your neighbors you shouldn't be in an apartment). There may be a few nice neighbors, but there are also a lot of loathsome troglodytes who have no life, so they have to make life miserable for others. Instead of coming to you when they have a problem with you, they run to staff and file a complaint very irate that you vacuumed at 8:45pm. Valid or not, too many complaints result in eviction. Staff is very helpful, they smile nicely while telling you you're kicked out, because you have too many complaints. Even though, according to the lease, I can vacuum anytime between 9am and 11pm, among other things, staff can't do anything to help, because of Company Policy. What's really funny is when the staff posts their own reviews, such as this, and expect people to believe it when it is obviously shameless self-promotion that's not even warranted. Kudos losers, I give you two rats up! I'm so glad I do not live at Layton Hall anymore! I've live in another apartment for the past year and haven't gotten a single complaint; the reason being, the walls are not paper. Thank you, Lord!!!

Is your daughter still in jail? It's a shame it's too late for you to take parenting classes. Maybe you and your daughters wouldn't have been fighting all night long disturbing your neighbors if you had. You lost your job, too at the same time you were evicted. Maybe you should focus on getting your life together and stop making these stupid posts. Really. Move on and get your life together. This is history.
