I am writing to reiterate what other reviews have said. The bug problems have not been cleared up; in fact, my husband woke up with a roach on his face last night. We are clean, professional people, but this building is so infested with roaches and bedbugs that we now have both. When I discovered bedbugs in our bedroom, I was devastated.

When we looked at apartments here, we thought that the price was so low because the buildings are old and a little shabby. I am ok with old and a little shabby. This is not true. The price is so low because the infestations are so serious, they never go away. The person who showed us the apartment said that the building used to have a bug problem but that they had extensive exterminations. Whether or not this is true, the bedbugs and roaches are still everywhere.

I do feel compelled to say that the office staff has treated us very well. They've gotten the exterminator in every time we've complained, and fixed all our minor maintenance issues. The problem is that it doesn't make a bit of difference. We have been going through the extermination process for months and even as I write this, there are roaches crawling on the living room wall.

I lived there for about 6 months and then threatened to sue them. It worked- they let us break our lease right away. Legally they are not meeting the terms and conditions of the lease- if I recall the lease said that the exterminator would only be coming once every 6 months so when they started coming once a week it was a huge red flag. If you aren't happy living there then I would threaten legal action because you def. have been taken advantage of.
