I?ve been living at Lincoln for 3 days and I got one major problem: Its cable service.
The apartment?s got a contract with a Company called Mediaworks (http://www.aptmediaworks.com) and it is the biggest crap I had to deal with in my life!
I know there?s satellite available so I don?t have to deal with Mediaworks but if you want broadband and cable you have to go thru Mediaworks since Cox or Verizon or any other DSL providers provide service to Lincoln. I just paid $280 to get cable and broadband installed!!! Cox usually does this for free! and Mediaworks only provides 50 Channels and no digital. This is one of the worst example of monopoly I?ve ever seen! The people at Lincoln kindly forgot to mention this fact until after I put in the non-refundable deposit!
Stay away from this place!!!
I am so out of here as soon as the lease is up!
Ok, i searched the web and came up with this. So I?m not the only one not happy with Mediaworks...
