6 month, Few complaints

My roommate and I have lived here now for 6 months. All of our maintenance requests (nothing major) have been addressed within 24 hours as promised, though most are handled same day. Parking can be a bit of a hassle - When we get home late at night, it seems that there are fewer available spaces close to our building.
The staff is always pleasant and helpful - they accept packages and never complain about getting up to find them. They also send out a monthly newsletter with information about what is going on in our complex, and notifying us of any changes in policies or enforcement. They also provide ample notice for scheduled maintenance and cleaning.
The gates for the parking lot have weird hours - they are open sometimes, and not others. And sometimes the "out" gate doesn't open when you drive up. Also, they have switched to Cox, so there is a much better cable system, and we have had no problems with that so far.
As for pets, there are pet waste stations throughout the community - it would be nice if people actually used them, but it's less of an issue than at other communities that I've lived in.
The neighborhood can be loud, but not due to neighbors. This community is right next to I-66, so traffic "white noise" can be heard, and is louder in some buildings. Also, there is a fire station around the corner, and sirens are used at late hours.
