One of my friends was travelling out of DC and he needed someone to take care of his car for 2 weeks. I asked Oakton park management if they can give me visitor parking permit for 2 weeks. One of the ladies in the office told me that they dont give 2 weeks parking permit. But she can give me one weeks and I can come and renew it after one week. When I went back after a week this guy in the office started shouting at me. I was completely taken aback. He told me that they dont give temprary parking permit for more than a week. He added some more crap like "This is not a place to store people's vehical." I got really angry and told him that it was the other lady in rental office who asked me to do this. When I asked that lady she said that, "If I told you that then I have made a mistake !!"
These people suck. I almost felt that I was humiliated in this way because of my race.
I am just waiting for my lease to get over and move out of this place.
