Do not move here. The price is low, but so is the quality. My car was broken into right in front of my building and all my stereo equipment was taken. Loud and rude neighbors. Mine starting playing loud music at 6 in the morning on the weekends and 5 am on the weekdays, and management did nothing. The company will not turn on the A/C until a certain date, no matter how hot it gets. The heating/air conditioning system is in each apartment, and when it comes on, it sounds like you are in a jet plane taking off. Also, laundry rooms do not have locks and people defecated and vomitted in the washing machines. A woman was also sexually assaulted while doing her laundry, and we weren't told until 3 months later. Whatever you do, do not move there! Oh yeah, and parking sucks. You have to walk blocks if you can even find parking if you do not park by 4 in the afternoon, and the tow company loves to rip the residents off.

This reviewer is totally accurate and I concur with his/her experience. Yes, a woman was attacked. As of April 2005, I have endured 4 years in this hell hole; 3 times my car has been vandalized - windshield smashed, antenna stolen, and rear light smashed. The noise on the road is loud. Who lives here? - college students drunk late at night, yelling in the streets and it looks like the place is subsidized for foreign refugees! --------- are everywhere, racing around the complex's streets playing loud music. True peace and quiet is rare and then only after 3AM. People are rude and inconsiderate. I've complained to the management and gotten a look like "too bad." Do not move here - there must be a better alternative for the white working poor American citizens of nothern Virginia. Good luck.

ok each and every one of you need to take a step back and reevaluate your situation...if you dont like it, LEAVE. no one is forcing you to stay anywhere. most importantly you need to keep in mind that when you live in an apartment complex, life is NEVER going to be peaceful and pleasant. staff will not do anything, ever, to lessen the noise...if someone is causing noise polution, stop being a ----- and call the cops AFTER you try talking to the people yourself. if you drive a nice car and live in a place like oakton park, i dont blame the car robbers for ripping your ass off. if you can afford a good nice car, get the hell out. people who complain too much tend to be the ones causing the most problems. look at where you are at, if you dont like it, get out and leave the apartments open to people who need it and are thankful for the oppportunity to live somewhere as nice as fairfax. you should all be ashamed...

Horrible place. If it wouldn't cost me thousands of dollars to break my lease I would be out of there right now.
