I have now moved on from the oh so wonderful oakton park apts. and i am sad to say that I do not miss them at all. nope not for one second have I wished that I still lived in there. I am not a fan one bit. I miss my old nasty single wide trailer that Used to live in over that one, at least the trailer was fun. I am going to redo my pros and cons list after a lease term.

Pros:
-there is a roof, and some walls. (yup they all made it the whole time!!)
-door closes and the paint on the peephole only covers half of the hole. (yup so if they stood on the left I could see them)
-Nice good size pool.
-A lot of SQF for your dollar, compaired to other places in the DC metro area.
-Lots of speedbumps so people do not drve to fast inside.
-there are dumpsters
-a door, and it even locks!!
-cable in not installed in it so you can do it the way that you want!!!! is that not wonderful''
-my toilet would flush my human waste away 99% of the time
-shower head is powerfull enough to take the dirt off, along with most your skin and some muscle, but hey you are clean

Cons:
-Lots of LARGE speedbumps. (my poor shocks)
-hope you like hikeing, cause you do it no matter where you live.
-I need to walk up stairs to go downstairs. why' (still never figured that one out)
-Yes utlities are included but the a/c is turned off and it is not that cold yet.
-managment is not very friendly or motivated to help it seems. (nope that opinion is still the same)
-Paint smell will not go away.(it left after about 5 months
-Rotting portions of walls in the RR (yea that did not go away)
-Sound resistaint' Tell that to the mexican music player above my room. I don't believe it.(he he I have seom fun stories from them)
-Parking is AWFULL!!! all of like 20 guest parking spots, and I can barely get a spot unless it is like 9 in the morning. (oh and do not worry they are not trying to fix the problem so you can rest assured that it will not go away.)
-cops patrol IN the lot. Yup got a ticket for the really bad stop sign. (not the APTS. fault.)
-they change policies with no notice and you have no choice but to accept the terms of there changes or will pay the 5000 plus dollars to get out of you freakin lease.

so yea if you are a tolerant person go for it. I am gone most of the day so I don't mind a lot but when the lease is up I am out.

so yea I am out now, and let me tell you if you want to get out of the place just leave have a plave lined up and work out, and once your in there just quit paying oakton. that or get evicted he he yea that would be fun. . . .no not really but it thought crossed my mind cause that place sucks, and if you want to find other placed just check out archstone they have good deals and policies. well that is all for now, I am gone and that is all that matters
