The only drawback is the lack of parking ...

I am a single career woman and have lived at Oakton Park for two years. The apartments are affordable and have the basic amenities. The location is convenient to almost everything, situated as it as at the 66/123 interchange. My building is clean and quiet; My neighbors are cordial and non-intrusive. There is a rich diversity of people in the complex, giving the feel of a small town rather than a club of some sort. My grandchildren love to come and play on the playgrounds, and the swimming pool is well controlled. The office staff is consistently responsive and friendly. These are neither new nor luxurious apartments, but they are roomy, clean, safe and quiet.
My only complaint is the lack of parking for residents and guests. My daughter can't just stop in for a few minutes because guest parking is always full. When my car is in the shop and I have a rental, it's a hassel to get a temporary parking permit. When I have guests, I have them park in a nearby public lot then go pick them up.
