It's okay. When things broke (which they did) they were usually fixed within 24 hours. You definitely pay a premium for the golf course, the gym, and the pool. It is a GREAT place to jog, but the pool is only open in the summer and the gym is TINY so I belong to a local gym instead. The apartments themself are tiny and my husband and I decided we can't live here another year.... we need more space and the two bedrooms (still tiny) are outrageously expensive. Also, the hot water problem is ridiculous, and the walls are paper thin. We used to have an upstairs neighbor who watched TV constantly (til 3 or 4am) and we could tell you what programs he was watching. Luckily he moved...

There are definitely advantages:
- No Decal parking so friends can visit worry free
- EXCELLENT location -- beautiful neighborhood, close to shops, compared to the rest of Fairfax County the traffic isn't bad (I moved from Alexandria and I am a MILLION times happier here because of the traffic!)
- Nice office staff
- Quick repairs
- Washer and dryer are good

But enough disadvantages that we'll be moving:
- TOO SMALL -- lots of storage, but little living space
- Hot water lasts a maximum of 7 minutes and this is NOT exaggeration
- Paper thin walls
- Poor insulation. Our electric bill was $40 in the fall and shot up to $160 for Nov, Dec, Jan, and Feb! And that included having it set to 60 at night and 68 when we were home.
- Too expensive for what you get
