Penderbrook has its good points, nice staff, nice gym, no problems with parking but it also has its bad points. First off the apartments are VERY VERY small I pay $900 for around 560sq feet. We have NO ROOM. We can't have a kitchen table because there is no room, we can't have regular sized sofa because there is no room, we can?t have friends or family over because there is NO ROOM! I live here with my boyfriend and we are always climbing overtop of each other. To access the washer and dryer you have to go into the bathroom and close the door because the washer and dryer are behind it. My number one compliant is the hot water, or lack there of. You have 5 mins maybe on a good day worth of hot water and I am not joking. Forget and taking a bath, you will have to boil water to have a warm one and ladies forget about shaving your legs in the shower, you don't have time might as well shave them in the kitchen sink! So if you move here plan on taking cold showers everyday or taking a shower at your gym. Another problem, your apartment will always be cold in the winter because of very poor insulation. We live on the 3rd floor and thought heat rising from the people living below us would benefit us. No such luck. Our electric bill is $127 a month because the heater is on 24/7. Also, the cabinets are is very poor shape in the bathroom and kitchen, I have actually gotten splinters from them. Lastly don't live near the car wash because for some reason people do feel the need to wash there car at 11pm and they will wake you up with the vacuum and their loud music.
