I have been living at Penderbrook for almost 4 years now...thank god I'm moving this year when my lease is up. The first three years were pretty good. Whenever I called maintenance they always responded quickly. However the past year has been horrible. I haven't had hot water in almost a year. I complained 4 times before they sent me a letter saying that the water just can't get hot in the winter because the pipes are cold. I never had a hot water problem the previous three winters that I lived there so I know that is a bunch of crap. My ceiling has caved in 4 times in the past 6 months. After about 5 or 6 calls they come out to paint over it instead of fixing it. Everytime it rains I come home to find tons of plaster on the floor and water dripping from the ceiling. They just don't seem to care. Also..when it snows...they don't clear the sidewalks..its really really bad. I don't know what has changed in the past year but the place just sucks. I would not recommend Penderbrook apartments to anyone..unless I really didn't like them.
