My husband and I were the first ever to move into our Regent?s apartment in 1997 (the year it was built). Needless to say, the apartment was very nice. We lived there for 5 years and absolutely loved it. We found the management staff to be very nice and the ground were always pretty and tidy. We had no problems with our apartement. No insect problems either. The tenents tended to be educated, career oriented people, some with families. It is close to everything, including a 7 minute walk to Vienna metro. It is 10 minutes from Tyson?s Corner mall. It is literally 60 seconds away from Rt. 66 (which is usually backed up even on the weekend), you have a gas station on the corner; and shopping center across the street which has a safeway, starbucks, gym, a family owned Greek restuarant I would recommend, and more. Merrifield movie theater is 6 minutes up the street, a huge gym is less than 10 minutes away, a Block Buster practically around the corner. Considering the location, I found it to be quiet. The sound proofing was good as well. We never heard our neighbors. The parking situation isn?t the greatest if you get home after 6pm. This was our only consistent issue. They do have undergound parking but it cost extra. The other only down side we experienced living there was that our car was broken into once. But in 5 years, this is the only thing I can think of that caused discomfort. We felt very safe overall and would highly recommend it if you can afford it.
