This community is among the worst in Fairfax, VA. I am within months of my lease expiring and I am leaving. Maintenance is pathetic - it sometimes takes days for a response and the management is the most unprofessional. The new "manager" I believe spends more time applying her lip gloss than taking care of this property. Her underlings are incompentents - I question the validity of their high school diplomas or GED certificates. During snowy weather, I have called many times questioning when sidewalks will be cleared and have been given the answer of "the sun is melting it" and the classic "we are working on it". The interiors are cookie cutter plain and typical apartment layout. No style or interest whatsoever. And all this for a ridiculous rent price. They also advertise to be within walking distance to the Vienna Metro. Well it still takes 10-15 minutes to get to the metro when walking, street lights are often out and Vienna is at the end of the line which means you still travel on the metro for a minimum of 30 minutes. There is no "zipping right into the City" as they claim. Finally, earlier this Spring there was graffiti on the interior hallway walls. Some punk or punks (presumably residents) decided to decorate. There is no security and since it is close to the Vienna metro and I-66, any piece of trash could have come right it. When I saw it I was livid and questioned if I was living in public housing. This is a secure building (supposedly) but yet doors to the exterior are blocked open for anyone to come in or the locks don't work. This place is a dump. Spend the extra money and live somewhere else and not among these second-class filthy people. Live in downtown DC - you will spend more money most certainly, but you will also be living amongst professionals who care about themselves, their surroundings and most importantly, have the motivation and desire to live in a nice place. Regent's Park is steadily becoming trashy.
