Expensive, suburban, good location for metro

I've lived at Regent's Park for about 2 years. Overall the complex is very nice, clean, and safe. Management is fairly responsive; however, it does have a very "corporate" feel.
Regent's Park rents several apartments as "short-term" housing, which means that new (usually nice) neighbors move in and out about every 2-3 months. There is not much of a "neighborhood feel" to the place. So if you are looking to make best friends with your neighbors, this isn't the place for you.
The rent is high, but what rent isn't high in this area' The walk to Metro is short (7-8 minutes) and safe. There is really nothing else to walk to, however. There is a safeway, McDonalds, strip mall very close, but you have to cross a very busy intersection (Nutley and Lee Hwy.) to get there, and the cars in this area are not looking out for pedestrians. Also, the complex is extremely close to I-66, which is a plus, but remember that I-66 has terrible traffic problems.
Overall, I would recommend Regent's Park to someone looking for a suburban, clean, short-term place. Oh, also, they take dogs and cats, which is another plus. uWDgQKY3Vkv8FKIsB8Ax
