I've lived here for almost three years and have been happy to live here. My apartment location is quiet. Maintenance has always been quick and responsive. The staff has always been helpful and polite. It's been my personal oasis.
I really have no serious complaints. The only thing that can be an issue, as mentioned before, is one of the trash compactors overflowing. However, this is really due to the laziness of residents -- there are two trash compactors, and some residents either do not push their trash all the way into the container AND compact it OR most residents are too lazy to take their trash to the second compactor if the more popular one is overflowing. I've noticed the staff and management make efforts to educate residents and encourage them to use both compactors, and to utilize the actual compacting feature -- but people are hard-headed and lazy. It typically is only a problem over the weekends and the maintenance staff always cleans up and compacts any overflow first thing Monday. I have no idea how they could correct the problem other than installing video cameras to try to catch the culprits. Otherwise, in the spring, sometimes ants show up -- but when I've alerted the front office to this issue or other minor repairs/issues, I've always received a response and resolution the same day or the following day. Occasionally my new neighbor upstairs walks heavy footed -- but that comes with apartment living sometimes (I rarely heard my old upstairs neighbor). Typically, I hear nothing -- the walls are soundproof enough and the units are nice enough that I've always thought that they would make solid condo conversions.
Overall, my experience here has been very pleasant and I've been impressed with the management of the property. I have NO idea what the other negative entries have been about -- other than some people with personal issues to grind.

I've lived here 4/5 years, parking is great, people are nice, maintenance is fine once they focus. Trash is a disaster, 5 years of lazy tenants... i don't think so.

Not really sure how you can blame the trash overflowing on the tenants. For the year and a half I lived there, it backed up nearly on a regular basis. I lived very close to one compactor and there should be no reason why I would have to go to the other side of the property just because one is overflowing. And when I mean overflowing, I don't mean a few bags outside of it. Most times it's pretty much a trash mountain. Either more compactors need to be installed, or the trash service needs to add a pickup day during the week.

I have to agree with the other to people. Ive worked at and Equity Property before. And where I worked we never had a trash problem, and if it was overflowing(which was usually over holidays)..we called the trash company and they would come out no problem, cause then you get the pest problems. We also had more than Two dumpsters For only two buildings with 250 units. In fact we had 8 dumpsters. So something needs to be done, its the responsbility of the office workers.

Sorry folks...it's called an opinion for a reason and I disagree. I have consistently gone on Monday mornings or over the weekend to the compactor near the front of the complex and found it to be near empty while the other compactor was overflowing! I've also found on several occasions that people have simply not pushed their trash INTO the compactor AND turned the compactor on. So it appears that the compactor was full, but wasn't, all because of a bit of incompetency. I have personally used a nearby pole or stick and pushed the trash from the chute into the compactor and that solved part of the problem. Because the next few people who come don't bother to do so and they just place THEIR trash in front and it's piled up from there. Honestly, a little bit of cooperation by residents (and I AM A RESIDENT) to either put their trash into the compactor properly or use a little extra gas to drive around to the less used compactor would help the problem (by my analysis)and to not do so to me equates to laziness.
