All right. I need to amend my previous post. Tonight I arrived home at 1am on a Tuesday.
I found the entire lot full with at least 3 illegally parked cars on yellow curbs. After circling the lot a few times I had to give up and park in the lot across the street. It's a strip mall (Comp USA, Macoroni Grill, TGI Fridays, etc...). It took about 4 minutes to walk home. If I get towed tonight I will come back and re post.
The parking lot is like the complex, really small. There are enough spots to accomadate the residents, and only 4 visitor spots. All other visitors have to be gone by 10pm. In the past the tow trucks were always around which ensured resident could park. Unfortunately, over the last week or so the parking has gotten much worse. Management recently changed and I can't help but wonder if the two are related.
When I came back to add this to my previuos post, the other post was auto-deleted. In effect I had said that the parking was decent and the complex was so small that all spots are within 60 second walk of your apartment.
As for the rest of the place, I love it. Nice apartments. No roaches or bugs. No ants on 2nd or 3rd floors either. Relatively safe area. Great location (except for the Post Office and 7-11 being to far away). Price is a little higher than it should be, though the 1st year is usually about $100 a month cheaper. Also, depending on your needs you might find the apartments to be a little small. Noise has not been too much of an issue. There's one inconsiderate renter who plays his stereo too loud, but the noise level from next door, upstairs & downstairs is very minimal.
So in a nut shell, if you can handle the rent and size limitations then the only thing you have to worry about is parking. If a short walk on rare occasion is more than your lazy American butt can handle, then look elsewhere :)
