I lived here for 8 months and would NEVER recommend this complex to ANYONE. They will issue as many parking permits as there are signers to the lease. If you rent a 2 bedroom with 2 occupants but only 1 person on the lease you get only 1 decal. You will have to go into the office daily and request a sheet of paper signed by their personnel to display as your parking decal or have your car towed nightly. I know while I was there my vehicle was towed multiple times as were multiple other vehicles. Once when I even had a decal because the towing company claimed the decal was not appropriately displayed. The ladies in the office are the rudest nastiness bunch of a-holes refusing to give you more than a day worth of parking at a time despite know you will have to come back for another signed sheet the very next day. I can t imagine why they can t just give you a week s worth of parking at least. There really is no explanation except that they re just total -------. At some point a new employee was brought on at the office and when she saw me come in for a yet another little signed decal from the hags for parking so she just went ahead and gave me a decal. So I was left wondering if they have permanent decals so readily available my question is why couldn t the ------- just have done this in the first place' I asked only to be confronted with asinine excuses about policy . I think it makes them feel important to have people daily begging for a decal. Also if you go into the office you might overhear conversations which go something like Mr. So and So in Apt B is a doctor so make sure you give his girlfriend a parking permit even though she doesn t live here. Apparently your socio economic status and the whims of the hags also influence who gets a pass and who doesn t. these people treat tenants like crap and don t deserve any renters. So if you don t want to plan your daily schedule around the hours of the rental office making sure you get there in time to request a decal you best find another complex. Oh and god forbid you walk across your floor in the middle of the day your sensitive neighbor may complain and the hags aren t nice about relaying the complaint.

A while back there was some issues with parking in that if you came home really really late you might not find a spot. In the two occasions that happened to us we parked in the mall lot which is very very close by. But its been over a year since we had any issues with parking and the appartment managmentm is probalby responsible for fixing some of that becuase they offered a discount on garages which give you two garanteed parking places away from the open parking. Its true, only those that sign a lease can have a parking permit. Why would you have someone live with you who is not on the lease? That violates your lease agreement. There are 4 visitor parking places and you can ask for a visitors permit if you know you will have over night guests. I've never had a problem with asking for a multi day pass.
I've not had major issues with managment. They've worked with us to renegotiate our lease over the past 4 years and have given us discounts. I don't have problems with noise levels. Any gripes I might have would be on par with any appartment complex because when you live so close to so many people stuff happens. Thats why its better to have your own house. The facilities are great and the landscape is beautiful. Maintenance responds almost imediately. The thing I like most about the Jefferson is that its a small community so you don't feel like just a number.
