Good Complex, a little expensive

I've lived at the Jefferson for almost three years, and the complex is fantastic. Its a tad on the expensive side, but most likely because of the location (walking distance to Fair Oaks mall and Fairfax Circle, and as close to I-66 as you can get without noise). The grounds are extremely well maintained, and if you ever have a problem in your apt. maintenance responds quickly and will follow up to make sure your problem has been solved. They used to have a problem with parking spots getting filled up by guests, but they have gotten much better about enforcing parking decals and towing away unauthorized cars (yes I know, it sucks if you ever have your car towed, but the rules are clearly posted, and there is plenty of parking across the street if no visitor spots are free).
Some other people have mentioned that smells permeate, and while this is true to an extent, it is no where near as severe as others have made it out to be. I am sure some of there complains have been fueled by xenophobia as I have never smelled food cooking from any other apartments (a few times from grills in the summer at most). My upstairs neighbors were smokers and it occasionally came through into my rear bathroom, it was nothing the bathroom vent being on for 1520min. couldn't solve.
The Jefferson is clean, modern, well maintained and an excellent place to live.
