more than a rental, a beautiful home.

We've lived at Post Forest since 08/2004 and have been thrilled with our decision.
The location is surrounded by movie theaters, shopping, and great restaurants, as well as providing easy access to 66/495. Even though you're in the middle of the 'burbs, the community is quiet, with lots of trees and gorgeous lanscaping. The facilities are clean and well-kept. The maintenance staff is friendly and responsive, and have never taken more than a few hours to get to our requests. The leasing staff are complete professionals, remember me by name, and sometimes have my packages waiting for me by the time I walk from my car to the office.
One of our favorite perks is the community gas grills. We also like the car wash areas, complete with neatly kept hose and vaccuum machine (quarters needed). The neighborhood is quiet, full of young professionals and retirees. We rarely hear our neighbors, and even then only a toilet flush or a washing machine change cycles. In the winter I was shocked at how fast the walks and parking lots were cleared out - even on a Sunday.
With the sky high rents in the DC metro area, it's tough to ever feel like you're getting your money's worth. But Post Forest is happily an exception to that rule. We're definitely staying here until we're ready to own our own place.
