I've lived at Post Forest for three years and overall I've been very happy with them.
I like the security the gated community provides, although sometimes the gates are annoying (ie, when it's windy, they don't like to open right away).
The leasing office staff is helpful, friendly, and eager to help you however they can. When I've had things they needed to take care of for me, it was done either that day or by the following.
We've had to call the emergency maintenace staff for a leaky ceiling twice from the unit above (two different issues). They came quickly, even though it was New Years weekend (the second time) and had it all fixed within the week.
The grounds are kept very nice with flowers or other greenery and color during every season. There's minimal trash on the ground, and it seems to be picked up weekly. When it snows, the parking lots and sidewalks are cleared so that residents need only dig out their own vehicles.
The wooded paths and gardens are nice to walk or run and there are conveniently located pet stations for pet owners (like myself) who forget baggies.
Complaints: I have a two bedroom and it's tiny. Having been looking for another place for when the lease is up (a new job makes Post Forest not particularly convenient anymore), I've seen several places with two bedroom apartments with more square footage for less rent. Also, the deposits (security and pet) are a bit on the high end and you get a minimal amount of it back if you've miraculously managed to leave the place pristine after 3 years of continuous residence...
