I have lived at Post Forest for 2 years and will be ending my lease this May. Overall the apartment community looks nice, but INSIDE the apartments look ancient! My refrigerator makes an explosive sound at times and the air conditioning and heating system is TOO LOUD! I have to turn the volume on my TV up when they come on!
As for the increase in rent, preposterous! I live in a studio apartment with no washer/dryer and very OLD appliances and pay $1,100, if I had stayed they would have raised my rent to $1,350! Insane.
Not the best place to live, try looking around for better bang for your buck!

I used to live in this community and experienced similar issue when I was moving out. Overall it's a decent place but a little on the overrated side. I would look elsewhere.

My appliances were older, but if they ever made a weird noise they took care of it if I called in. Always worked great. My rent went up when my lease was, but I negotiated it back down. Did you try that?
