Great Place to Live!

Post Forest was a Great place to live! The office staff was excellent- always pleasant, greated me by first name, and expedient in resolving any maintenance issues. They even fed my cat and watered my plants while I was on vacation (a service they readily provide to all their renters). I can not stress enough how great it was to live somewhere with such service-oriented staff that's more than willing to cater to your needs with a smile.
The grounds and landscaping are beautiful! They have a gazebo, several porch swings, nice grilling/ picnic areas. The work out room is great, too- nice, new/well kept equipment, with tvs and lots of fans. They also have 2 tennis courts.
Parking was great, too. I never had a problem with inviting guests over (worrying that their cars would be towed or there wouldn't be enough visitor spots). The community is gated, so they don't tow. Guests just have to call you from a box at the gate (just remember to tell your guests what to do BEFORE they get there).
The only inconvenience I can think of is that sometimes the gate backed up- coming in at rush hour, etc, it the person in front of you lost their card or a guest wasn't properly warned of the call box.
It was a bit pricey, but you get what you're paying for- nice apartments, excellent amenities, top notch office staff, beautiful grounds, and a great location.

Your review is a bit out of date.
- They tore down the gazebo in 2005.
- With the exception of the property manager, the entire office staff has changed since you lived here.
- I have never heard any mention of pet feeding/plant watering service in the time that I have lived here. (I don't think that this service is currently offered).
- They claim to tow cars without parking stickers that are not parked in the designated guest spots. (However, this is rarely the case, as I am forced to park farther away from my building than I would like because cars without parking stickers are parked wherever they please).
I'm not saying that Post Forest is a bad place to live. I'm just saying that a two year old review may not be 100% accurate.
