we lived there for a year and loved it. the staff was genuinely nice and cared about the residents. it was very quiet in our building and we never had a problem with our neighboors. i really loved the fact that there were still trees on the property, it made it seem less like an apt and more like a home. and i liked that they did not charge pet rent. the only downsides were the ancient applicances and the lack of enforcement for resident parking spaces. had they upgraded their applicances we probably would never moved....

I just want to add that I love that they aren't strict about parking for residents/visitors. I feel that there is plenty of parking for everyone and have never had a problem. I love that if I have a visitor over for a few minutes they don't have to worry about being towed. Its relaxed and it works. Other than that I agree with this review--- although its important to add that they raise rent way too much each year.

I've nearly always had a problem with the parking. It's nice to not have to worry about visitors being towed, but at the same time, as a resident it can be quite frustrating to come home and not have a place to park within sight of the block my building is on. Why they bother with the parking stickers is beyond me.
Regarding the rent raise each year, I most definitely agree. The raise in rent is about the only reason we've had to decide to move when our lease is up...there's no way we can afford that. Last year I said something to them and they lessened the increase some, but still overall very pricey!

I agree with cicleofdust, while it might seem great that you don't have to worry about your guests being towed, it is a pain to have to carry your groceries a long distance because all the spots near your building are filled up with cars that do not have parking passes.
There are plenty of visitor spots around the community, but people are too selfish to use them as they should.
Also, the apartments and their components are a bit old and outdated and do not quite line up with the rental rates. While the community and apartments overall are great, as you can imagine, a rental unit that is 20 years old shows a great deal of wear and tear.
