Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2007
The reviews on this site make this place seem like hell, which is certainly not my experience.
The bad: there are roaches, things like the tub drain and garbage disposal frequently clog or malfunction (but maintenance is helpful in these matters), and there are lots of teens that loiter around the parking lot. A specific thing to me is that my car's hood got badly keyed after about 6 months of living there.
The good: cheap rent, family environment (mostly hispanic people with their children). It generally feels safe. Cats are welcome at no extra cost, which is a requirement for me.
Overall, I can recommend this place at least for 1-2 years (we are moving after about 1.5 years due to job relocation)
