If you are seeking an apartment within this building, think again... There are small tar like black particles floating in the water that comes directly from the tap. We have now been told anything in our apartment that needs fixing to fix ourselves. Supposedly the mangement company is withholding any repairs due to budget or cost. Either way, our fridge leaks, the disposal leaks which has created the underneath portion of our sink to cave in, the oven does not heat to the correct temp., there are leaks all over in the ceiling of the building due to a hole in the roof. The laundry rooms do not have ample plumbing so most of them smell of waste and vomit. The exhaust system had not been working all summer, up until a few days ago. Due to this problem, not only was the smell in the building horrid, there is mold growing in our unit on the walls. This is not a safe place to live. Save yourself and your health and go somewhere else!!!

this is the same tenant who claimed discrimination. been at broad falls 14 years the laundry room so did not smell like vomit and waste. this tenant was bipolar, had parties, was violent to others and complained about little things like leaves in the parking lot, cars with the exhaust fumes in the air, if the dryer needed more change, mailbox was full, slick walkways due to rain, parking spaces being taken from her, trash smelling in the dumpster, birds making too much noise, dirt on the entryway rugs, lint on the hallway carpets, phones ringing in other apartments. strange thing is they were nasty, noisy, had parties, i don't know how many people really occupied their apartment but i seen and hear it was quite a few. they would treat the maintence people like trash. they would punch the elevator buttons with their fist if the elevator sat there for a moment. they were calling people nasty names like if you were white well lets just keep this hampered ok but they were demeanding and if you tried to tell them otherwise well look out you were on their hit list whatever that meant. is glad they are gone now it is finally livable here again. broad falls isn't that bad it doesn't smell, there is no real mold issue unless it's a real wet season and you live on the ground floor. there is no odor that i can find unless the resturant really tosses out a lot of their trash in the dumpster on weekends. broad falls is one of the better buildings, it has plumbing issues, heat was taken care of and sometimes the ac struggles on real hot days but there's nothing close to what this person is claiming. they are just upset that they couldn't get away with violating the lease rules any more. they wanted revenge on the manager at the time because she just would not put up with that kind of abuse to an apartment you should have seen their apartment i heard it was left nearly demolished.

deal with it, you were caught and you're a basketcase. you violated the lease and you were charged for the damages. seems you're still as crazy and questionable as ever. how many years has it been now? watch out for this one, they're not stable minded.

Apparently you can't read Anonymous - I was only charged fees for the nail hole in the wall - which is quite fair. Other than that, I was let out of my lease free and clear because of the mold damage. The issue here is the fact that that building is riddled with mold. I don't know if V. is still the manager there or not, and I know her hands are tied by the jerk that owns the building. I just want people to be aware of the problems. I don't know if you live there or not, but there is a problem in many, if not most of the apartments. The owner doesn't want to spend money to properly fix them. Painting over it only works for a short while. Mold returns after a month or so. People with asthma or any other respiratory problems would be at risk in that type of an environment and I feel obligated to warn them. So what that it is "years" since I've lived there. The problems still persist. As for being a basket-case, you must be thinking of someone else. "Watch out for this one, they're not stable minded" -- uh, yeah, one - they're? Which is it, one or they're. How many people do you have in your head?
