If the temperature INDOORS is higher than 80 degrees AT NIGHT- something needs to be DONE. I have a child that has developed HEAT RASH from simply trying to SLEEP in their home. Heat rash can block sweat from escaping and cause HEAT STROKE. Heat stroke can lead to brain swelling and death in the elderly and young.
I DON'T CARE WHAT IT COSTS, I PAY $1200 TO LIVE THERE EVERY MONTH and that includes safe temperatures. The first time the outdoor temperature rises above 85 degrees, the AIR NEEDS TO BE TURNED ON. Stop being cheap, your penny-piching will cause the DEATH OF ELDERLY OR YOUNG TENANTS, and then you will be sued for all the pennies you have.

When I lived here At Broadfalls all I needed was a couple of fans to keep cool. I also get sick if it is too hot. you knew the stipulations before you signed your lease! Stop Whining or move out!

First of all dear ANONYMOUS, the AC doesn't have to be turned on until the middle of MAY! Time for you to read up on the City Ordinances! Sue? Who are you going to sue MS.ANONYMOUS? Real toughy you are. Big Woman you are, real big, mighty and powerful, so you going to SUE the tenants also?

The city has the ordinance, yes, but that does not mean that they CANT turn it on earlier. I AGREE with this post. Quit being cheap. You get enough money every month to pay all the bills for the building and all the people that work there. And if the maintenance was done right the first time, you would have to pay him less... that's common sense. Think about your tenants instead of yourself. You don't live there. They do.
