I had a one bedroom here for a year and even to get the maintanence guy to come and look at my ac was a nightmare. When they finally came and looked at it, they tore holes in both the living room and bedroom ceiling and walls. They left it like that for weeks while the pipes were leaking. It was hot and nasty outside and they just didn't give a damn. It took about 6 weeks for them to fix this project. After they fixed it, it started leaking in the very same place the NEXT DAY! The manager will not get the guy down to fix anything. It taked way too long. It's a nightmare. I would never recommend this apartment for even my worst enemy. As I have heard from a dear friend of mine who still lives there, there have been two rapes as well.

So, once again.. Just to respond to this.. Broadfalls is an old building. You have to have patience in dealing with any issue arising in an older building. As for the rapes, I heard of the rumors. Just to clear that up it was consensual between the two individuals and no one has been convicted only banned from the property. For the location of this building it is safer than most and affordable considering you are in the heart of Falls church. Back to the maintenance guy... you can't send someone to fix something if they don't know how. You have to have that work contracted to be done. Please people use common sense when signing leases with any rental property. Ask questions about the staff and their duties to have a better understanding on how things are accomplished and done.

So funny when property management tries to pose. I think it is sad. When you know the truth and you are trying to cover your behind because of your mess so you can keep your butt where it has been forever... when you do things to deliberatley mislead people... its sad. I feel sorry for you. But I will still warn potential renters. Be Careful. If you don't mind no maintenance, hearing your neighbors like a herd of elephants, rapist walking around and living there... then go right on ahead and move in here.

rapes? heh, there's been worse, people in the region must be alert and it was probably propagated by someone who know the people. we used to have gangs there (wannabe to say the least) but the events were recorded and finally the problematical people were ejected legally. this happens, stay cautious and if there's issues, report them! call the police, make a public record and talk with the management also, the more information available to work with the better. if you want to improve a problem what you do is participate! i had to do that when i was at broadfalls and one day again may have to repeat that... you are a resident you are a member of that community and not everyone can be at the right places at the right time so help out next time!
