Broad Falls is "okay." For the price, it's not a terrible deal, especially considering utilities are included. But on the other hand, the utilities barely exist! The air conditioning system _barely_ works, and any requests to take a look at it (or any other maintenance matter) are essentially ignored by Velora and whatever new maintenance guy they have now. The "weight room" is poorly maintained, full of broken of machines and might as well not exist. The pool is okay, but the hours are terrible.

Given that the building is so old, lots of things are falling apart. The blinds, carpets, kitchen appliances, etc, are very, very old. The dishwasher barely works, despite over the years having maintenance "fix it" a half dozen times.

Luckily, the neighbors are quiet and the walls seem fairly thick. Unlimited hot water is nice, but it was on the fritz for over a YEAR, taking forever to warm up and certain hours (morning, evening) were a nightmare. Thankfully, after interrupting water service about a dozen times, they worked out those issues.

The laundry not being in the apartments sucks. Only one set of machines per floor, lots of them don't work well. So there's frequently a line and I've had people remove my stuff early---stealing my quarters essentially.

Overall, I wouldn't live here again.. but until I leave, it's bearable.

You have to be kidding me... Can you please reveal yourself? It sounds horrible you should leave!!! I am sure they have a waiting list for people who would love to live there. Get a life..find a new home!!

If you remove your clothes promptly (apprx. 30 minutes to wash and 1 hour for the dryer, your clothes would not be removed. As you stated the building has 1 set of washers/dryers for 5 floors and hundred of residents. Be considerate and allow other to use the washer timely. If you leave your wash-then it's not stealing your quaters if your laundry was done. yes, the building has maintenance issues, and the ac/heat is up and down but this is an old building. The fitness equipment is non existent, poorly used space. Neighbors are all nice and friendly, and parking is good. You can have packages delivered to your door, and not one bothers a thing. This isn't TRUMP Towers to say the least, but it's bearable. Location is good for the bus service, and in walking distance to ATM/CVS, grocery stores.

i used to live at broad falls, apparently it's improved since my leaving, which i predicted. i'm on that list, hopefully and i'd be eternally grateful to come back, i surely miss this "dump" to the max and would embrace it, such as i did before.
