The Good:
Convenient location, lots of green around, utilities included. They don't charge pet rent. Most tenants seem to be honest, working-class people of all races and nationalities which I felt quite comfortable with. Being an older building, it has "personality" and doesn't seem like a sterile box.

The Bad:
All common areas are dirty and I mean trash, filth, and dead roaches all over the place every day. I am embarrassed to have guests because of this. One of the maintenance men knows less about plumbing than I do and another one acts like he couldn't care less. One seems conscientious and knowledgeable though. Whether or not something gets fixed depends on who they send to fix it. The air conditioner leaks all over the carpet to the point where I would come home and step in slosh 10 feet from the unit. They "fix" it and it leaks again before the carpet even dries out. And the biggie - roaches. They will spray if you request it, but it honestly has no effect at all. Keeping my own apartment clean with all food in sealed containers has not stopped it either. Management is very unfriendly. When dealing with them, I felt like a suspected criminal even though I never paid my rent late or caused any problems.

You can find a better place. Don't live here.

This apartment is terrible. It stinks all the time. The maintenace crew is horrible. There is this one little man that is expected to clean up the whole building and he takes about two months to get through eight floors. The halls are alway nasty with cigarette butts and beer cans on the floors and stairways.They don't have a moving dock...it is a little hall way for you to sqeeze pass garbage and filth and not big enough to get your furniture into your apartment. Big trucks park where cars can't park...leaving no space. The front desk crew are horrible when it come th caring about what happens in and around the building, they only care about getting your rent...nothing else. I feel sorry for the elderly in the building, they don't exist. They bring in too many tennants that are drunks and don't care about the property...and if any thing bad happens; they pretend not to speak your language. It would be nice if they put the trash dumpers in a different location away from the parking lot, they are too close too the building causing rats and roaches. The roaches are horrible every time someone moves the truck blocks the drive way . The trash drop area to each floor is always full, no one can drop trash because people from other floors bring trash from different floors instead of taking it out to the dumpster. There are dogs in the building... there is proof of this.. even though dogs are not allowed. The elevators stay broken. The weekends are the worst because the office is closed. Children run in the hallways everyday late at night. Strangers are let in the so called secured building at all times. A one bedroom apartment will have about six people living in it. They don't seem to care. I tell you it is horrible,I could say more, but I'll just say... do not move there it's not worth the rent they charge..and I think they need to remodel before they raise any ones rent.
