I've lived in Fairfax Towers for a year, in a 2 BR, 2BA. Unfortunately, I'm leaving since rent was raised above my budget. Overall, I really liked living here and would recommend renting here, but only if you get a special. When I signed my lease, my roommate and I got 2 months free rent, which made living here very affordable. I've heard complaints that FT is overpriced and I'd have to agree. That being said, Fairfax Towers is still a very nice place to live. It has great amenities (shuttle to Metro, pool, tennis courts, gym...) and it has a great location. Plenty of free parking too. Maintenance was always prompt. My only complaints are old appliances in my unit and thin walls within the apartment. So, if you're thinking of renting here, definately try to get a deal. If you do, it's a great place to live!
