Leasing agents are courteous with prospective tenants, but cease to be so after the lease is signed. The model shown is misleading as compared to the actual apartment given. The turn around time is short thereby the new tenant is faced with a variety of maintenance problems after move-in.

The appliances, i.e. washer/ dryer, stove and disposal are old - from the 80's and inefficient. Management refuses to replace and upgrade. Thus leading to excessive electric bills.

Management staff is condecending, defensive and not responsive to tenants concerns quite the opposite to their pre-move-in behavior. Tenants complaints are taken as personal attacks on someone's honesty and integrity.

Maintenance sucks and does not repair appliances. They do not diagnose the real problems nor can they repair it.

Overall AVOID THIS PLACE AND MANAGMENT'S LIES

I just moved into Fairfax Towers and I would like to say that this review does not reflect the service at all! I was referred to this community by several co-workers and I beg to differ. Actually, I feel completely opposite of this reviewer because I have been treated with respect and never misled in any way. I would just like to add that my dishwasher was not working properly when I moved in and it was replaced immediately, so I do not know what this reviewer is talking about...unless this reviewer is not being exactly honest.

Wow, this comment hit it right on. Everyone was so nice right up to the moment you sign the lease...then its only sarcasm and attitude from management (I do have to say though that maintenance and reception people are very nice). Maintenance is quick, but appliances are too old to fix- I guess if you're lucky enough and the thing won't start they'll replace it. I'll add three other things: Parking is horrible and it's impossible to find a spot where your car won't get covered with bird feces; Walls are paper thin so you can hear your neighbors conversations and their appliances at 2 in the morning; Apartments are practically furnaces - I get cold very easily, but didn't close my window once this winter and still couldn???t sleep because of the heat. For what you pay, this place is truly not worth it. I'm moving out the second my lease it up.
