recently they towed couple of my guest's cars. One night my friend came and wanted to stay with us. As it was already dark and as the office staff were not present we thought we can use the old parking pass. Also the parking lot was all empty, so we thought we will be ok. To our surprise..the towing company (DOMINION TOWING, falls church) opened the car (opened a security enabled car) to check the parking pass even though the whole parking lot was empty. When we went to collect the car the towing company was so rude and rough. How can an apartment management tie-up with such rude people. It is very clear that the apartment is doing side business by towing the guest cars.
Another thing I noticed is they give guest passes that are valid for only 2 days. If you have a guest in the late evening the staff wont be there...so you better ask them to stay in a hotel instead of paying for the towing...
If you want your guests to stay with you over night ever...dont choose this apartment

there is a service road adjacent to Lee Highway that can be used and does not require a pass as long as you move the car early next day; also management will leave a parking pass in a box by door for pickup after hours; never use an expired pass; also Dominion owned by same people who manage/own apartment (special incentive for aggressive towing)

Um, no Dominion Towing does NOT own Fairfield Crossing. You can park your car on the service road overnight without a permit as long as you move it by 9am. You MAY NOT park on the service road from 9am-5pm Monday - Friday :)
