I've lived at Fairfield Crossing for five years and found it a great place overall. My apartment and the complex on the whole are very nice and are maintained with care and attention. Management is very responsive. If anything broke, it was immediately fixed or replaced. The wood-frame buildings do transmit noise easily between apartments, which the property manager fully disclosed this before I even rented an apartment. This wouldn't be a problem if I'd been surrounded by quieter neighbors. Again, management was very responsive when excessively noisy neighbors made it hard to even be home, but there's not really much they can be expected to do to change people's behavior. So in short, after five years, the only real problem I've ever have at Fairfield Crossing is no reflection whatsoever on the complex and its management -- it's a reflection on inconsiderate people who don't care about the impact of their actions on their close neighbors.
