Last year, rent went up 5%. This year, 5.36%, which is WELL over the average in this area, which is 2-3%. And this is in spite of the massive economic crisis, and the notification sent with the same old tired form letter, as if the economy is not collapsing around us. When I first moved in rent went up $25 a month each year.
So be warned, if you think the rent is high now, just wait.

I have an issue with 2 noisy neighbors. From the moment I leave for work to the time I come home it's loud music. Problem is if you ask them nicely, suddenly it's a conspiracy and they threaten you. That's just the begining, I don't feel like going into details, to much effort.

listen to these two people, your average apartment troll. these are the people who stop you in your tracks, take up your time, make noise themselves, litter, stick their noses in other peoples business. high horse hogs is what they are called. then something doesn't go their way then suddenly all hell should break loose to stop their misery. forget it, no wonder you were told to move, it would prove to be less of a hassle than to please every single breath of complaint you will have.

May I add? Speaking of High Horses, a few talk Smack about others and mind other business so much so I do my best to avoid the Roost that is about in this complex. Real neighborly these people are, talking behind others backs, talking SMACK about the Staff, talking about people who just move in, talking about minorities, talking about me. I love to hear garbage about my neighbors and myself when none have done a single thing nor have I. Very silly people with very narrow minds. You hear one thing online and outside but what you deal with is another situation. Amazing complexities and webs they weave, oh the Drama!

I know who you are talking about. Just leave her alone, she kisses up to the Alpha Males where she works and is very Political. She would do anything to destroy an individual, so leave her alone to her own dispair. We call her the "In box". Don't worry about that individual, her "Maverick days" are long gone, her bite is only laughable and those who work with her know it. Not many can stand her actually, I know this personally. But rest assured, you get this with any situation at any complex where one has to live, whether it be here or 100 miles away. So do not let that make you lose sleep, no matter where you live. You get Gossips, Two Facers and those who are Politically motivated for their own need. Don't lose any more of your quality time over this. This too shall pass, as it's been said by a few famous notables.

whoah, please keep this stuff to your own blogs or other neighbor sites, there are many to choose from. this has nothing to do with rating the place and yes this happens at any given community. don't trash up this forum, please refrain. if you have a review, do that instead but keep the gossip, slander down, thanks. lee square isn't the only joint that has troubles with fellow neighbors, i understand wholeheartedly but if you want to vent, create your own site and/or put these things up at any rant site, anti-neighbor sites which come by the plenty! have a nice day.
