Wouldn't recommend it

Years at this apartment: 2001 - 2002
I lived here for a year and couldn't wait for my lease to expire. It is old and not well maintained. The day I was supposed to move in, the elevator was out of order the entire day so I had to leave my stuff in a van and come back the next day. There was nobody at the front desk and they were "between" maintenance people.
There are roaches in the building - in the stairways and laundry rooms. The washers don't always work. The staff is nice but the management company is just not attentive.
AIMCO paid penalties of over $129,000 to the EPA and HUD in 2002 after those agencies charged AIMCO failed to warn tenants that their homes may contain lead-based paint hazards in violation of the Residential Lead-Based Paint Hazard Reduction Act.
I was told more than once that floor tiles that were noted as warped when I moved in would be repaired but were still not repaired a year later when I moved out.
