Bad Experience with Management Left Us Homeless!

We talked to someone over the phone from out of state who assured us we could send an application priority mail along with an app. fee and holding fee and have it processed and ready when we got to town.

So I did just that and after not hearing from them for a few days (the day before I was to move) called to make sure everything was okay. First, they couldn't find my application at all. THEN, they said "oh, well we can't process the app. because it's not notarized, someone was supposed to call you (as they'd never mentioned this to me initially)." WELL, obviously no one did! Also, found out I didn't even meet the income requirement and a cosigner had to make $85,000 a year. After all that, like no notice and me having nowhere to stay, they said they couldn't even speed up the approval process for me...that it would take at least 3 business days and probably longer.

SO basically, I was homeless for a few days until I could locate another place last minute. They did at least send my checks back, BUT some were really rude and had a better than thou attitude which seemed ridiculous. I mean shouldn't an apartment complex want people to live there instead of alienating them' SO much happier where I ended up, much better deal, more amenities etc. KEEP SEARCHING.

there is no requirement for an income of $85,000. The minimum income limit is less than $35000. i have been staying here for 2 years and dont make $85000. Not sure if cosigner needs to have that income - after all its a cosigner - not unreasonable. Yes, they do take a few days to process the applications, and may require details of your previous apts, or even your passport details if you are non US citizen. Never rude to us.
